My name is Cameron Aunkst, and I’m the creator of Praises to the King. Through my spirit of motivation and love for the Lord, I wanted to create a place where people can come dig deeper and discover all the Holy Spirit has to offer them.

I’m an Army veteran currently studying psychology, married to my wife, Jocelyn, and we share life with our three pups—Theo, Tonka, and Timon. I enjoy working out, riding motorcycles, and studying religion and psychology.

My faith journey has been a winding road. I was very devout as a teenager, but while serving in the Army, I walked away from my faith. This launched me into the darkest years of my life. Through years of digging, researching, and seeking truth, I found my way back to Christ. His love and guidance have completely transformed me. Now, as I once did before, I long to share this transformation with others.

Praises to the King exists to share the gospel and help others grow closer to Jesus Christ. Through devotionals, teaching, and honest conversations about faith, my goal is to encourage people to deepen their relationship with Him and experience the life-changing power of His Word.
